The design of an industrial chimney requires sound engineering planning that goes far beyond mere manufacturing. Depending on the composition of the process gases, specialized materials are used – from high-quality structural steels and stainless steels to high-temperature resistant special alloys. These materials allow for safe operation in temperature ranges from -180 °C to +900 °C. To ensure long-term integrity against corrosion and abrasion, the surfaces are protected by certified coating systems or special linings. Manufacturing in a welding specialist company certified according to ISO 3834 also guarantees the required gas tightness and mechanical quality of the welds.

As an integral part of the full-service solutions, the planning of the stack systems takes place in the context of the entire process chain.
